The Bahamas is an archipelago of islands with Nassau as its capital. The Bahamas has enjoyed a parliamentary democracy for two and a half centuries and continues to maintain political and social stability since its independence in 1973. The Bahamas is located 50 miles off the east coast of Florida U.S.A. and has a population of just over 300,000.
Because of the broad ranging financial products and services it offers, The Bahamas is considered to be one of the most developed financial centres in the world. This attribute, partnered with its strong pool of well qualified professionals, zero tax environment, and strong legal and regulatory systems, makes The Bahamas a very attractive jurisdiction in which to do business.
