How will the emerging markets and the global economy develop over

these difficult times'
2001 Nobel prize winner in Economic Science Professor Michael
Spence, who also act as a consultant to PIMCO, Luigi Spaventa,
Professor emeritus of Rome University La Sapienza and former
president of CONSOB (Italian public authority responsible for
regulating the Italian securities market) together with other experts
answered these questions yesterday at the annual conference
organised by BSI Gamma Foundation in collaboration with PIMCO,
the Swiss Finance Institute and the Università della Svizzera Italiana.
The round table discussion moderated by René Stulz, President of the
BSI Gamma Foundation, with the participation of Klaus Wiener, Head
of research at Generali Investments, Andrew Bosomworth, Head of
portfolio management in PIMCO’s Munich Office and Mauro Micillo,
CEO of Eurizon Capital, provided the public with valuable ideas on the
evolution of the global economy.
