| BSI presents Branded “Swiss”. The best of Swiss products, synonymous with quality, precision and solidity, in a collection of objects on display for the first time in Switzerland |
Lugano, 21 January 2010
The BSI Album project is holding an exhibition entitled Branded “Swiss” at BSI branches in Bellinzona, Chiasso, Geneva, Locarno, Lugano, St. Moritz and Zurich. It features objects made in Switzerland, which Riccardo Blumer has found, selected and finally put together in an exclusive collection that includes more than 80 household items produced industrially or traditionally between 1930 and 1970. A Swiss preview of the items was held by BSI in Lugano today. At the press conference, statements were made by: Riccardo Blumer, an architect, collector and teacher of architectural planning and design at the USI – Architecture Academy in Mendrisio; Luigi Zanzi, teacher of historical methodology at the University of Pavia; and Chantal Stampanoni Koeferli, Head of Corporate Communication at BSI AG.
